Privacy policy
How we handle personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). Short version: we collect only what you type into our forms, use it only to answer you and run your tour, and we do not track you.

No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or social-media trackers. Fonts, scripts and images are served from our own server. That is why you do not see a cookie banner.
The one exception is the map on the “The port” page, which is loaded from OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, UK) when you open that page; your browser then sends your IP address to their servers.
Data you send us
When you use a booking, private-tour or contact form we process: name, email address, telephone number, ship and arrival date, number of guests, preferred language and the content of your message.
Purpose: answering your request, preparing and carrying out your excursion, and meeting tax and accounting obligations.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to a contract and performance of that contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)) for invoicing records.
Spam protection
Our forms use a self-hosted proof-of-work check: your browser solves a small computational puzzle. No personal data is collected for it and nothing is sent to third parties. To limit abuse, the server briefly records the IP address of form submissions. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Server logs
Our hosting provider records technical access data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) to operate and secure the website. These logs are deleted automatically after a short period. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who receives your data
Your data is processed on servers in the European Union: the website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) and email is handled by our mail provider Mailbux. Where needed for your excursion, we pass the necessary details (name, number of guests, meeting time) to the guide or driver and to suppliers such as restaurants. We do not sell data and we do not send newsletters.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Booking and invoice data are kept for the periods required by Spanish tax and commercial law (generally 6 years).
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing, at any time by writing to contact@mallorcacruiseexcursions.com. We answer within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es) or with the authority in your country of residence.
